Arrival from the airport to the Congress venue
Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport formerly known as Budapest Ferihegy International Airport, is the international airport serving the Hungarian capital city of Budapest, and the largest of the country's five international airports. The Airport is located 16 kilometers (9.9 mi) east-southeast of the centre of Budapest.
The Airport is well accessible by car from any point of Budapest. The Airport can be reached in 20-60 minutes from the City by the "High-Speed Road”. The taxi ride should cost approximately 30 EUR one-way.
Budapest Airport is relatively well accessible also by Public Transportation means. Passengers are taken by a direct bus service from (and between) Terminals 1 and 2, called the Bus 200E to Kőbánya-Kispest metro terminal.
Passengers can easily reach Ferihegy railway station (Budapest Airport Terminal 1) from the Budapest Nyugati Railway Station. The trains ease the travelling from the city center to the airport within less than 30 minutes.
Prior to booking flights, registrants are strongly advised to confirm with their travel agent whether they require a Visa to travel to Hungary. Information about Visa requirements can be found on the World Travel Guide website: www.worldtravelguide.net
