The Hotel Rey Juan Carlos is ideally located on the Avenida Diagonal, Barcelona's main avenue.
The hotel offers splendid panoramic views over the city and the sea and is located near Barcelona’s most famous shopping districts the Plaça Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia as well as the alternative areas of El Born and Barrí Gotic are easily accessed by Barcelona's transport system.
Arrival from the airport to the Congress venue
By car/taxi (15 minutes):
Leaving the airport, take B-17, direction Barcelona.
After 5 km, follow the signs B-20, Ronda de Dalt (blue).
Exit the B-20 at exit 11 (Les Corts - Zona Universitaria)
Drive 200m on the right hand side of the Diagonal Avenue and take the second turn on the right.
The taxi ride should be approximately 20 euro.
By train/metro (40 minutes):
Take the train to Sants Estació station.
From the station, take the metro line number 3 (green line) to Zona Universitaria.
By bus (40 minutes):
Aerobus shuttle bus service (A1) links Barcelona airport to the city centre. Catch the aerobus directly in front of the airport (all 3 terminals).
Get off the bus at Plaça Espanya (first stop). Take the metro line 3 (green line) to Zona Universitaria (2 minutes walking distance from the hotel).
Visas
Some participants may require a visa in order to enter Spain. Please check with your local Spanish Consulate or Embassy

Welcome Reception
All registered participants are invited to the Welcome Reception, which will take place on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 19:00-20:30, at the Rey Juan Carlos.
Your invitation is included in the personal registration kit.
Sessions
The first session starts on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 09:00.
Please complete your registration at the Registration Desk prior to the start of the sessions.
Invited Speakers Presentations
All speakers are requested to visit the preview room prior to their lecture and upload their presentation. Speakers should bring their slide presentations to be uploaded for their sessions no later than one break prior to the session in which they are scheduled.
Poster Presentations
Please check the Scientific Program for the day of your presentation.
Posters should be mounted between 08:00-08:30 on the day of your presentation and removed by the end of the sessions on the same day.
CME Accreditation
Please note once on-site that you have you CME Accreditation form in your kit. In order to receive your accreditation points, please submit the completed Serono Symposia CME Accreditation form to the registration desk before the end of the congress.
Your CME Accreditation Certificate will be send to you directly.

Climate
June offers beautiful weather in Barcelona and is one of the best months in which to visit the city. Temperatures are warm but not blistering and sun is abundant.
