Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of APCOC, the acronym for the Asia-Pacific Council On Contraception, we wish to invite all of you to attend our Second Congress. Encouraged by the success of the first one-day scientific symposium held in Shanghai on November 8, 2007, we are planning to hold an exciting meeting of two and one-half days with the theme “Contraception for all: how, why, what and when”.
APCOC, a not-for-profit organisation which was recently founded, carries a strong mission to promote safe and effective contraception in the planning of families for the Asia-Pacific region and beyond; and as part of its educational program, will present up-to-date information in a scientific forum from time to time. For this Congress, we will consider a wide range of topics addressing issues of clinical relevance, including new and current contraceptive methods, sexuality and sex-related infections and presenting them in a variety of new learning formats by recognized authorities in their field.
We have developed the program with all of you in mind - as medical practitioners, nurses and midwives, social workers, educators, scientists, administrators and students. We are confident the proceedings will be stimulating, interesting and useful to you in your practice.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Congress and making your stay in Macau enjoyable and rewarding.
