Abstract Submission

Participants who wish to give a presentation at the Congress, are requested to submit an abstract for review by the Scientific Committee.
A limited number of abstracts will be scheduled for oral presentation.
The Committee reserves the right to decide on the final form of presentation.
The Committee reserves the right to select the abstracts relevant to the sessions.

Deadline for Abstract Submission:
September 15, 2008

Abstracts will only be included in the Program and Abstract Book upon receipt of full registration.

Your abstract should include the following information:

Contact details of the presenting author(s).
Details of affiliations of the author(s): institution, city, country.
Full name(s) of the author(s).
Title of the abstract.

Please note: Abstracts cannot exceed 250 words.

Congress Awards and Prizes
Bayer Schering Pharma Talents Encouragement Awards (50 awards available)

These awards will be available to delegates attending the Congress. They are required to have submitted an abstract for either Poster or Oral presentation which, in the judgment of an expert APCOC panel, is considered worthy of support. They will be invited to present their work as described in the abstract in an oral or poster forum at the Congress. The Award includes: Waiving of the registration fee and coverage of hotel accommodation at the Venetian Hotel for 3 nights during the congress based on sharing room with another winner (those who wish for a single room will have to add 100 euro for each night). Applications will be accepted in the form of an abstract until the expiry date (September 15, 2008). Successful applicants will be notified before the Congress.

Bayer Schering Pharma Prizes for Best Presentation

These prizes will be awarded to the most commendable presentations in oral and a poster forum, according to a combined judgment of an APCOC panel and the audience. The Prizes are valued at 1000 euro for an oral presentation and 500 euro for a poster presentation.
