In-vitro diagnostics are a critical source of objective information helping doctors detect and diagnose diseases, select appropriate treatments and monitor patient response to care.
Making healthcare personal
In-vitro diagnostics helps doctors to understand that all patients are different and will have differing responses to a medicine. Personalised Healthcare (PHC) means targeting treatment to specific groups of patients who will respond best to those medicines. Rather than a ‘one-size-fits all' model, it is a tailored approach that incorporates the reality that people are different and so are the diseases that affect them.
This has enormous potential to make healthcare better, safer and more effective for patients, physicians, payers, and society at large.

TocopheRx is an early stage biotech company dedicated to discovering and developing novel oral therapies for infertility treatment of women and men. Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) currently used for treating infertility is administered by injection causing significant physical discomfort and increasing anxiety with each failed treatment cycle. TocopheRx is focused on developing novel orally active medicines that reduce the stress of infertility treatments. Our first disruptive innovation is an orally active, small molecule that stimulates the FSH receptor. Our preclinical results demonstrate that TOP001 offers a novel, effective, and convenient treatment for infertility, whether for female or male factor infertility.
