from Schonefeld airport: by rail to stop main station, there take bus M85 to stop "Staatsbibliothek" (approx. 45-60 minutes)
 
Visas
Some participants may require a visa in order to enter Germany. Please check with your local German Consulate or Embassy.


Congress Registration and Hospitality Desk
The Registration Desk will be situated at the Maritim Hotel Berlin, and will be open as follows:
Thursday, November 4 10:00-20:00
Friday, November 5 07:30-18:00
Saturday, November 6 07:30-18:00
Sunday, November 7 07:30-12:30

Please register upon arrival in order to receive your congress bag containing the COGI Congress Program Book, your personal name tag, etc.  Please remember to wear your name tag to all Congress activities.

Welcome Reception
All registered participants are invited to the Welcome Reception which will take place on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 19:00-20:30, at the Maritim Hotel Berlin.
Your invitation is included in your congress bag.

Sessions
The first session starts on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 17:30-19:00 in Hall A.
Please complete your registration at the Registration Desk prior to the start of the sessions.

Invited Speakers Presentations
All speakers are requested to visit the preview room prior to their lecture and upload their presentation. 
Speakers should bring their slide presentations to be uploaded for their sessions no later than one break prior to the session in which they are scheduled.


Posters
Posters boards will be located on the 1st Floor, in the gallery.
All posters should be mounted on Friday, November 5 at 08:00 and removed by the end of the sessions (18:00) on Saturday, November 6.  It is the responsibility of the poster presenter to remove the poster on time.  Any posters not removed on time will be discarded.

Exhibition
A professional exhibition will be held at the Congress venue, in conjunction with the Congress. The floor plan has been designed so as to maximize the exhibitors’ exposure to the delegates. Coffee breaks will be held in this exhibition area.


CME Accreditation
Once on-site, please make sure that you have your CME Accreditation form in your congress bag. In order to receive your accreditation points, please submit the completed Serono Symposia CME Accreditation form to the registration desk before the end of the Congress.
Your CME Accreditation Certificate will be sent to you directly by Serono Symposia after the Congress.


Dress Code
Casual for all occasions

Climate
Winters can be bitterly cold and damp although rarely extreme, so a warm coat, together with scarf and gloves is recommended. Snow is fairly commonplace at this time of the year in Berlin and there are often cold, clear, frosty days. If you are planning to travel to outdoor locations, it may be advisable to wear sensible footwear and carry an umbrella.
