Hotels location versus CNIT - Convention Center
Concorde - Located within 10 minutes drive and 3 stops on the metro from CNIT, with direct access to the metro and the RER suburban rail.
Le Meridien - Located within 10 minutes drive and 3 stops on the metro from CNIT, with direct access to the metro and the RER suburban rail.
Sofitel La Defense/Grand Arche - Located within walking distance to the CNIT, with dircet access to the metro and the RER suburban rail.
Mercure La Defense - Located within 15 minutes walking distance to the CNIT.
Novotel La Defense - Located within 15 minutes walking distance to the CNIT.
HOW TO BOOK
In order to benefit from the special Congress rates, kindly
complete the online Registration & Accommodation
Form. We strongly advise all Congress participants to
reserve their Hotel accommodation as soon as possible. Kenes Tours will not be
able to guarantee rooms after August 15, 2001
PAYMENT
Payment for accommodation, provided by Kenes Tours is payable (less
deposit) before your arrival in Paris. Please make all payment in US$ according
to the rate of exchange to the Euro on the day of payment.
Deposit will be calculated in US$ according to the exchange rate of Euro on the day of receipt.
Kenes Tours accept Travellers' cheques and Euro cheques (in the currency of the issuing country) Visa, Master Card, and Diners Club credit cards.
Participants wishing to pay in their own local currency can do so via Western Union Quick Pay. A Western Union blue "quick pay" form must be completed with the following information:

IMPORTANT NOTES
Participants
requiring single rooms will be accommodated in double rooms for single
occupancy.
Kenes Tours reserves the
right to change the requested hotels to those of a similar grade or better.
Kenes Tours and their
agents shall not be responsible for, and shall be exempt from, all liability in
respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any
person, or his/her luggage or any other property, for any reason whatsoever, for
any tourist services provided.
Personal travel and
health insurance is highly recommended.
Official check in time in
all Hotels is 15:00 hours and check out time is Noon.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Up to 90 days prior to arrival - full refund less bank charges
Up to 45 days prior to arrival - full refund less Euro 150 handling fee
Up to 30 days prior to arrival - no refund of deposit
Less than 30 days - no refund
TRANSFER ARRANGEMENTS
International flights arrive at either Charles de Gaulle - 24km
northeast to Paris, or at Orly - 16km south of the city. Both airports have two
terminals.
By Train:
Both airports have their own train stations, from which you can take the RER to Paris. The advantages of this service are speed and low cost (Euro 12 from Charles de Gaulle, Euro 10 from Orly). The disadvantage is having to lug you bags around.By Taxi:
Taxi fares from the airport to Paris range from Euro 35-45.By Bus:
From Charles de Gaulle, buses operated by Air France leave every 15 minutes from 05:40 to 23:00. The fare is Euro 10 and the trip take 40 minutes to 1 and a half hours during rush hour. Arrival in Paris is at Concorde Lafayette and Le Meridien hotels. Alternatively, the Roissybus, operated by Paris Transport Authority (RATP), runs directly to Rue Scribe, by the Opera, every 15 minutes.
From Orly: buses operated by Air France
leave every 12 minutes from 06:00 to 23:00 and arrive at the Air France terminal
on the left bank. The fare is Euro 8 and the trip takes 30 to 60 minutes.
