Dear Friends,
Over the years the field of Geriatrics has witnessed an enormous expansion in clinical and basic data. Conferences are becoming more and more informative and there is often only limited time for thorough discussion. This development has created a great need to debate the many controversial issues and crystallize them into clinical conclusions.
The 1st International Congress on Controversies in Longevity, Health and Aging (CoLONGY) is meant to function as an exclusive forum for international experts to share and compare experiences, in order to outline the right treatment for patients.
This ‘concept congress’ stems from the fact that current congresses fail to promote true clinical discussion between practicing physicians and researchers on unresolved pressing issues.
Allowing ample time for speaker-audience discussion, the congress aims at reaching up-to-date and agreed-upon answers to ongoing debates even when proof is lacking, through evidence-based medicine and expert opinion.
The purpose of the CoLONGY congresses is to disseminate information on controversial issues in our field. The congress will include special interest sections such as: Anti or pro aging, Anticoagulants, Diabetes mellitus (DM), Cholesterol level, Hip protectors and osteoporosis treatment, Estrogens in aging, Testosterone in the aging male, and others.
We invite you to take part in the 1st International Congress on Controversies in Longevity, Health and Aging (CoLONGY), which is intended as the first of many future congresses.
We look forward to an exciting scientific event in the beautiful city of Barcelona
Sincerely,
|
