Please register upon arrival in order to receive your kit containing the COPHy Congress Program Book, your personal name tag, invitations, etc. Please remember to wear your name tag to all Congress activities and social events.

Exhibition Area
Lunch Box pick-up will be available on Friday, March 31, 2017 during the Industry-Sponsored Symposium followed by a Dessert Break at 13:15-13:45. Lunch Box pick-up will be available on Saturday, April 1, 2017 during the Industry-Sponsored Symposium followed by a Dessert Break at 13:15-13:45. Please present your name tag in order to receive your lunch.
Poster Presentation
Posters should be mounted between 08:00 – 08:30 on Friday morning (March 31).

Poster presenters should plan to be beside their posters during the breaks, as specified in the program. Please see the Congress Secretariat for board allocation at the Congress.

Please remember to dismantle your poster at the end of the day, Saturday, April 1, no later than 17:30. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for posters that are not removed on time!
Prior to booking flights, registrants are strongly advised to confirm with their travel agent whether they require a Visa to travel to Spain. Information about Visa requirements can be found on the World Travel Guide website:

Please note the following:

Photography and Recording Policy - Participants are asked to be respectful of their colleagues by turning off all cell phones and PDA devices before entering meeting rooms. Cameras and all other recording devices are strictly prohibited in all session halls, in the Exhibition Area, and in all poster presentations. Thank you for your cooperation.

Smoking Policy -
In accordance with our policy, COPHy is a non-smoking Congress.
WIFI will be available in the Congress area and during the Congress venue.

Informal for all occasions.
You can expect an average of 11°C, with an average high of a very warm 17°C, and a low of 5°C during the evenings.
The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents, nor loss of or damage to private property of participants, either during or directly arising from the 8th World Congress on Controversies Ophthalmology (COPHy).
