A Taste of Lisbon
The tour will begin at the São Jorge Castle, which has the most beautiful and panoramic view over the city.
From there, the tour will continue down the hill through the narrow and twisted streets of the Arabian quarter of Alfama, where the architecture is from the 8th century with a strong Arabic influence and which is very well preserved.
The tour will continue to the Madre de Deus Convent where the Glazed Tile Museum is housed. This beautiful museum illustrates the evolution of the glazed tile techniques and themes throughout the times in a very interesting way. The different samples document the story of tile making and the role that it played in Portuguese Architecture.

Discoveries around Lisbon
The tour will begin at the historical centre of Belém where each monument is a reminder of the Golden and Glory Age of Portugal during the 16 century – a time of discoveries across the seas.
The tour will include a visit to the Jerónimos Monastery, which is considered a World Heritage site by UNESCO due to the impressive architecture and decorative style known as "Manueline". There will be a stop for photos by the Monument to the Portuguese Discoveries and the Belém Tower.
After the cultural visit, guests will have a very “sweet” and pleasant stop: a visit to the famous and ancient Fabrica dos Pasteis de Belém - a popular coffee shop were little custard cakes are still produced and served freshly out of oven. Here Pastel and “bica” – the small Portuguese coffee - will be served.
