Conference Objectives

Conference Aims:

DCellT is the first international Conference in diabetes cell therapy in Israel, highlighting 25 years
of JDRF research in Israel aimed at finding a cure for diabetes. It is intended to be a forum where
world experts will convene to share and compare their respective knowledge with the goal
of advancing progress towards the cure.
The audience will be provided with an overview of the latest information in the field.
The scientific sessions will focus on prevention and treatment of T1DM as well as the most
promising avenues of current research for a true cure including beta cell development,
islet regeneration and stem cells.

We invite you to take part in this First Conference , which will be a milestone for future Conferencees.

Specific Conference objectives:

1. To survey the latest information about type one diabetes cell therapy research done in Israel
and worldwide.
2. To announce and strengthen the new collaboration between JDRF International, JDRF Israel
and D Cure to promote research on Type 1 Diabetes in Israel.
3. To foster communication and collaboration between the audience and the distinguished list
of international speakers .
4. Initiating the establishment of an International research center for cell therapy of type 1 Diabetes
in Israel.
