Why Attend?

Our life expectancy in Africa is increasing. Pelvic floor dysfunction occurs at any age but contributes very significantly to reduced quality of life in middle age and beyond. We in Africa must grasp the opportunity to develop the most appropriate and evidence based approach to tackling these problems and avoid the mistakes and the adhoc approach in the earlier days of managing these problems in the developed world.
