Arrival from the airport to the Symposium Venue

Airport Information and Travel to Tel Aviv
The Ben-Gurion Airport is located 20km from downtown Tel Aviv.

Taxi
Taxis are available outside the arrival hall. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic and costs approximately 45 USD (160 NIS).

Train
Trains reach Tel Aviv's central train station in about 20 min. From the central train station take bus no. 18 which runs past the Hilton Hotel.

From Sun-Thurs, the trains leave about every 20 minutes (from 5:30-00:00) and every hour during the late hours (1:30-5:30). On Friday evening and Saturday there are no trains to the airport.
A train ticket to Tel Aviv central train station will cost you 12 NIS
Bus fare will cost 6.40 NIS

Please register upon arrival in order to receive your kit containing the FOIU Program Book, your personal name badge, invitations, etc. Please remember to wear your name badge to all Symposium activities and social events.

Scientific Program
A very exciting and diverse program has been prepared for you, and we are looking forward to your active participation at the various sessions.
Program sessions begin Tuesday, July 1st at 17:00.

Lunches
Buffet lunch will be served for participants of the Symposium on Wednesday, July 2nd & Thursday July 3rd from 13:00-14:00.

Invited Speakers Presentations
Please be sure to come to the Registration Desk to collect your personal badge!
Speakers are requested to visit the preview room prior to their lecture and upload their presentation, no later than one break prior to the session in which they are scheduled.

Poster Presentations
Poster boards should be mounted from Wednesday, July 2nd, 07:30 and should be dismantled no later than Thursday, July 3rd, 18:00.
Please check the Scientific Program for your board number.

Visas
Some participants may require a visa in order to enter Israel. Please check with your local Israeli Consulate or Embassy.
Please remember that obtaining an entry visa is your own responsibility.

Informal for all occasions

Climate
Temperature in Tel Aviv usually ranges between 24°C to 35°C (75°F to 95°F).
