We are looking forward to welcoming you at the 4th Friends of Israel Urological Symposium (FOIU), July 3-5, 2018, Tel Aviv, Israel.

In preparation for the Symposium, we kindly provide you with the below information before traveling to join us at the 4th FOIU!

Symposium Venue

The Symposium venue (also the Headquarter Hotel) is as follows:

Arrival to the Symposium Venue

If you are arriving from abroad, please note:


The Ben Gurion International Airport is approximately 30 minutes from Tel Aviv city. The most convenient way to reach Tel Aviv is via Taxi, the official Taxi’s of Ben Gurion Airport is Hadar Taxi Company. You will find the taxi station and dispatcher post located outside the arrival hall on Level G, near the exit through Gate 01. The cost is approximately 50 USD / 170-200 NIS (dependent on traffic).

An alternative way to reach Tel Aviv is by Train, and then taxi. Take the train (north bound / Tel Aviv) from outside the arrival hall to Arlozorov Station, and then take a taxi to the location you are staying, train ticket is approximately 15 NIS and the taxi within Tel Aviv approximately 30 NIS.

Transport and Parking

If you are arriving by car to the Symposium venue, please be advised that for FOIU Faculty and Participants, a discounted parking fee of 40 NIS will be available. To receive the discounted parking ticket, you must go to the FOIU Registration and Hospitality Desk. Please note that the FOIU Symposium cannot guarantee parking spaces at the Hilton Hotel, so please take this into consideration when timing your arrival to the venue.

Registration and Hospitality Desk

The Registration Desk, located in the main Symposium area (ground floor of the Hilton), will operate during the following hours:

Please register upon arrival in order to receive your kit containing the FOIU Symposium Program Book, your personal name tag, invitations, etc.
Please remember to wear your name tag to all Symposium activities and social events.

FOIU Get Together

All registered participants are invited to the FOIU Get Together, which will take place on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 19:30, on the lobby balcony of the Hilton Hotel, Tel Aviv. Your voucher for this event is included in the personal registration kit.

Refreshment Breaks and Lunches

Refreshments and lunch will be served during the breaks between sessions, as specified in the timetable.

Poster Presentation

Posters will be displayed from Tuesday, July 3rd  – Thursday, July 5th in the Exhibition Area of the Symposium.

Posters should be mounted by 08:00 AM on Tuesday, July 3rd. Poster presenters should plan to be beside their posters during the breaks, as specified in the program. Please remember to dismantle your poster on Thursday, July 5th no later than 06:30 PM. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for posters that are not removed on time!

CME Accreditation

All registered participants will receive a username and password via email following the Symposium. Participants will be asked to complete their CME Accreditation Feedback Form online by logging in with their username and password on the Symposium website:

Once the CME Feedback Form is completed and submitted online, your EACCME Certificate will be available for download

Certificate of Attendance

All registered participants will receive a username and password via email following the Symposium, to download their Certificate of Attendance from the Symposium website.

Informal for all occasions.


The average temperature in Tel Aviv during the summer months, and in July are between 80°F (27°C), 90°F (32°C).

Business Hours

Most shops and stores are open 10:00am – 7:00pm Sunday to Thursday. On Fridays stores close around 2:00pm.
