Please register upon arrival in order to receive your kit containing the IVI program and abstract book, your personal name badge, invitations, etc.  Please remember to wear your name badge to all Congress activities and social events.

Welcome Reception
All registered participants and registered accompanying persons are invited to the Welcome Reception, which will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 19:30, at the Madrid Convention Center in the Exhibition Area.
Your invitation is included in the personal registration kit.

Lunches
Buffet lunch will be served for participants of the congress in the Exhibition Area on Friday, May 15 13:00-14:00.

Invited Speakers Presentations
Speakers are requested to visit the preview room prior to their lecture and upload their presentation. 
Speakers should bring their slide presentations to be uploaded for their sessions no later than one break prior to the session in which they are scheduled.
Poster Presentations
Your poster, produced by Merck Serono, can be collected at the company booth in the Exhibition Area.  Please pick up your poster and place it on the corresponding board number, as it appears in the final program (List of Posters section).
 
Posters can be collected and mounted from Thursday, May 14, 2009, at 15:00 and removed by the end of the congress.

Please remember to dismantle your poster at the end of the congress.
The Organizing Committee is not responsible for posters that are not removed on time, no later than 13:30 on Saturday.

E-Posters
Poster presenters are invited to have their posters displayed also as e-posters during the Congress. 

Simultaneous Translation
English is the official language of the Congress 
Simultaneous translation into Spanish will be available. 

Please be prepared to present and ID card in order to use the equipment available.

CME Accreditation
Please apply to the registration desk beginning Friday, May 15 at 12:00 to receive your CME Accreditation certificate. 
If you are a participant from the UK or from Italy, you will be asked to fill an accreditation form which must be returned to the registration desk by the end of the congress in order to fulfill your CME application.

Visas
Some participants may require a visa in order to enter Spain. Please check with your local Spanish Consulate or Embassy

Climate
You will find the city's trees and parks blooming.
Weather during the month of May is mild, some days may even feel like summer, with average temperatures between 12˚C (54˚F) and 21˚C (70˚F)
