Arrival to the Congress Venue
By taxi from Valencia airport:
Approximately 15 minutes with an average fare of €20
Taxis in Valencia are either yellow, white (city taxis), or company taxis. They are readily available, and reasonably priced. To hail a cab, look for a taxi showing a green light on its roof, which indicates that it is available.
The meter shows the fare, but extra fees can accrue when crossing city zones. This information is detailed inside the cab.
By car:
From France/Barcelona/Alicante: Take Highway AP7 towards Valencia and then take exit KM 497 leading directly onto the CV-35. Follow the signs to Valencia and then to the Palacio de Congresos.
From Madrid:
Follow Highway AP3 to Valencia and take the Valencia City Center exit onto the Avenida del Cid. Turn onto the Avenida Pío Baroja crossing the bridge Puente Nueve de Octubre. At the roundabout take the Bulevar del Norte and at the next roundabout and turn onto the Calle de La Safor. At the following roundabout take the Avenida Cortes Valencianas and follow the signs to the Palacio de Congresos.
Metro Line:
Take the Metro Line 3 or 5 to Angel Guimerá and change to Line 1 (direction Bétera or Llíria), exit at Beniferri Station and follow the signs to the Palacio de Congresos.

The registration desk will operate during the following hours:

Please register upon arrival in order to receive your kit containing the IVI Congress Book, your personal name badge, invitations, etc. Please remember to wear your name badge to all Congress activities and social events.

Welcome Reception
All registered participants and registered accompanying persons are invited to the Welcome Reception,Thursday, April 7 at 19:30-21:00 at the Palacio de Congresos.
Your invitation is included in your personal registration kit.
Speakers' Preview Room
Speakers are requested to visit the Speakers' Preview Room no later than 30 minutes prior to their lecture and upload their presentation. Please contact the technician at the Speakers' Preview Room.
Poster Presentations
Please check the Scientific Program for your board number.
Posters should be mounted from Thursday, April 7 at10:00. The Posters will be on display for the duration of the Congress until Saturday, April 9 at 14:00.
Poster presenters are advised to be next to their poster during the coffee breaks in order to answer any questions.
Coffee Breaks and Lunch
Coffee and a buffet lunch will be served in the Exhibition Area as mentioned in the Program.
CME Accreditation
Please note that once on-site you have your CME Accreditation form in your registration kit. In order to receive your accreditation points, please submit the completed form to the registration desk before the end of the Congress.
Your CME Accreditation Certificate will be sent to you directly by Serono Symposia.
Visas
Some participants may require a visa to enter Spain. Please check with your local Spanish Consulate or Embassy.

Climate
Valencia can be sunny and warm in April although a coat is advisable as summer may not have arrived yet.
